I am from Trinidad. It was a pleasure having the opportunity to partake at the Dude Ranch Cafe. The food is different to the food that I am accustom to. But I must say! I enjoyed it. Great food. Excellent service. Wonderful people.
Really good food. We all ate too much. We didn't want to stop. Tasted like home cooked meals.
The food here is AMAZING. The gravy and shrimp are amazing. I love to sit there and chug their fry sauce. This place should have a much better rating than Me-N-Lou's. Just saying.
This place seemed to be over hyped until I went yesterday. It took over 10mins just to order my beverage and about 40mins before food arrived...it wasn't even a busy night. My waitress did not bring silverware to the table and did not leave water at the table for refills (all other tables got them). My waitress also only stopped by once to ask how the food was....15mins after we got it and were pretty much done. The food was not what I expected and my burger was inferior to something I could have gotten at Burger King just up the road. The curly fries weren't bad but could have been better for being home-made. The biggest problem is probably the hours and days this place is open. It seems to be very random. I would never go back...unless someone were to take me and I wasn't paying.
While they do close at odd times, stopping here is well worth your time. I love the service and the home town feel here. My faves are the beef nuggets, mashed potatoes and gravy, salad bar, and homemade bread. This place rocks my socks!
