Visiting Des Moines from Kansas City and found this restaurant on Yelp rated very highly. This place doesn't disappoint. Service was friendly. Food was great and they made the best mocha I've ever had. The french toast was as good as everyone said. Although, the french toast is so unique it's hard to compare it to other french toast. I highly recommend checking this place out. Come early though. It's not very big and fills up fast.
Quaint, cozy, friendly atmosphere. Many food items are homemade and delicious. The mocha was maybe the best that I've ever had. Had the "marshall", and it was super good. The French toast was a different style than I've had before and really good. I highly recommend this place!
Intelligentsia coffee, made-to-order hash browns, huge slices of breakfast ham, apple cinnamon French Toast that is out of this world good. This is what breakfast should strive to be.
Got our food to go. Omelet was delicious, French toast was tasty and staff was friendly! Great tasting food - will be stopping back again!
Great! Will always eat here when I stay in Does Moines! French Toast is a must try.
