I've visited Roe's dozens of times over the past few years. Always had fair to good service and food. The last time we visited, my food was not prepared well. It was the chicken club sandwich. The chicken was unseasoned, overcooked and dry, the tomatoes were awful, the lettuce was full of stalks and they forgot to put cheese on it. I had only taken two bites and decided I couldn't eat the meal because it was just plain bad. When the server came by our table, I stated the food was not good and she took my plate away without saying anything and then she came back with the bill. However, the other people I was was with had different meals and said their food was okay. I stated I didn't think I should be charged for the sandwich because I had only taken two bites and could not eat it so she got the assistant manager. The assistant manager came out and said, in a very unprofessional tone by the way, she looked at my plate and stated I had eaten over half the food and that I was going to pay. We were fairly regular customers that always tipped very well but because of the awful, disrespectful service, we will never go back.
Roe's sport's bar and Restaurant is amazing I had creamy shrimp Alfredo mmmm! So good unlike Apple Bee's burnt chicken shrimp Alfredo ewwww! In your face Apple Bee's Roe's sport's bar and restaurant would say if I rated Apple Bee's and Roe's Sport's Bar and Restaurant. They give you mints when the bill comes. If you choose to stop and eat in Ottawa choose Roe's Sport's Bar and Restaurant.
Food has been just okay when I have been there, but the service is usually pretty good.
I thought the food was good service is also good every time we come there there's always it's very good waiter or waitress they always have a smile on their face . It has a hometown feel to it. And I will continue to go there.
Food was good, the service was a little slow but not bad. I would go here again.
