have a drink and a tenderloin every time i go home.. best place in town and friendly staff tool
A good, hot freshly made pork tenderloin, thin but not too thin. Just about perfect. To be diplomatic, this is not an upscale lounge. Or a midlevel pub. It's a small, hole in the wall bar. The few regulars though seemed to feel right at home. And I didn't feel unwelcome at all. These little bars used to be the norm until all the themed places with kids' menus, clowns on Mondays and mozzarella sticks took over.
Noe's has, hands down, one of the best - if not *the best* breaded tenderloin in all of South East Iowa. They are huge, hand breaded, not too thick, not pounded paper thin, but just right. I'm a big guy and I can eat a big meal - their tenderloin (or chicken loin, if you prefer the original white meat) is the only sandwich that I don't need a side with to make a meal. They are not glamorous - the food is served on paper plates, their soda pop is served in the can, they only have a couple of tables, they are not going to win any awards for their decor, but if what you want is a darn good meal for a very reasonable price, then Noe's is the place to go. Be sure to ask for a knife when you order your tenderloin/chicken loin, because you're going to need to cut it up a couple of times to try and make it all fit on the bun.
