Maui Mike's Fire-Roasted Chicken
Reviews
Never before have I experienced chook like this. I travelled 8,000km to get a bit of Maui Mike's chicken and it was worth every kilometre. Okay, I didn't come here JUST for the food, but it was high on the bucket list and it failed to disappoint me. Cajun fries with half a tender BBQ chicken, a little Hot Lava sauce on the side and I'm in heaven. This place may not look like much, but it's got it where it counts: the food. If you're anywhere near Wahiawa, you absolutely have to come to Maui Mike's.
Decent chicken, but not worth all the hype. I had a chicken sandwich with bacon and ranch. Paid extra for their "blazin hot sauce". It was sriracha. I was somewhat annoyed that I paid extra for what I already had in my fridge. . The sandwich was decent, but I didn't feel that it lived up to the $8 price tag + over an hour of waiting. I also ordered a half rotisserie chicken. It was pretty moist, but a little on the salty side. Not bad, but like I said before, not worth the hype. I personally though that COSTCO's rotisserie chickens were better (not to mention half the price). Bottom line: decent chicken, but hardly worth the money/hour+ wait time
This restaurant was awesome. First time there, It was not too busy. I order a chicken sandwich, and the first bite was heavenly delightful. It was soft and the flavors was robustly there. I took my friends there and they love it as well. It's a must see.
My wife and I randomly came across this place while returning home from a trip in town. The chicken was amazing!! The fries were great. Not expensive at all. They said our wait would be like 20 min. minimum and it ended up being 10 max. Overall it was Da Best food I've had on da island.
My chicken was dry and it had no flavor!!! Go get yourself a rotisserie chicken they are cheaper and taste better. Dont waste your money here
