The bomb for burgers and daily specials. AWESOME!!
I spent WAY too long waiting on food for my kids and myself. A hamburger, mac n cheese for 2 kids took over 20 minutes. There were 3 other tables that came in after us and got their food before us. I ended up having to get the food boxed up before we even ate because it took too long. Once I got the meals home, I realized they had not even gotten the kids orders correct and ended up having to throw away their dinners. A complete waste of money. Will not ever go back.
Never has the term "comfort food" better fit the true southern dishes served at Tyrone's Boxcar Cafe. I had the country fried steak, fried green tomatoes, cucumber salad, and fried okra. (True southern cooking at its finest) If I didn't know better I would have argued my Nanny was in the kitchen making sure they were cooking some of my favorite dishes just the way I liked them...
Love the catfish filet on the blue plate special. If you order this it comes with 1piece but you would have to be very hungry to eat more than one because the filet is big. I like the old music and down home feel try a burger its fresh beef.
