Blue Eyed Daisy Bakery
Reviews
This is a quaint cafe in Serenbe thst serves baked goods and sandwiches. The prices are slightly higher compared to what you get at similar bakeries in Atlanta. The food is tasty and atmosphere is relaxed and natural. If you are in the area and hungry give it a try.
Eating lunch before going to Wilkerson Mill Garden---I will not recommend, service is not personable and basic. Salad, basic "greens" salad with 4 tsp. of chicken, was expensive. A well known chain has a better salad, with more chicken, for a better price! Tree limbs hanging from ceiling, interesting, but the atmosphere does not account for prices!
Been regular customers always pop in with our children for lunch when enjoying a visit to Serenbe. Today was so bad we will never go in there again. Children were served sandwiches with "very' stale bread. Veg burger was non existent in a stale bun.showed the server who explained that's how we serve it and gave it back, attitude was rude and supercilious to say the least.
Some friends and I went horseback riding at the Trails of Serenbe and one of the guides told me about this place when I asked about places eat. We were astounded by the beauty of this quaint area. This place is like almost in the middle of nowhere. It's far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Metropolitan Atlanta that you wouldn't realist that you're really not that far from Atlanta. Not only is it in a very attractive location but the patrons and staff were extremely nice! I had the blue eyed plate with country ham which was really good! I really can't I to go again. I loved it because it is away from the hustle and bustle of city life. I was very impressed with the daisy and will definitely go there again when I go back that way. Some of my friends can be extremely finicky when it comes to their food but no one had any complaints at all. I call the Blue eyed Daisy a gem because it is one of those places that is a must go when you find out about it. Not to mention the fact that the chef was a winner on Cupcake Wars! How cool is that?! Nevertheless, if you ever find yourself in Palmetto, Georgia or at Serenbe riding horses, you MUST go to the Daisy. I highly recommend it. This was my fist visit but definitely not my last!
We really enjoy having a yummy lunch at The Daisy!
