This Mellow was recently renovated and it is so much fun to visit! The restaurant looks great, has a fun vibe and the food is delicious. We had a big group that ate there last month and every pizza was so good I left happy and stuffed.
After a long day of Black Friday shopping we decided to give this place a chance. What a mistake. First, no coffee? Seriously? We waited 15 minutes before we were even approached to order. The salad was disgusting and far from fresh. Food was brought out of order without consideration of others who had no food. And our meal arrived almost an hour after we sat down when were ready to leave. Manager was notified of our issue but made no effort to speak with us. Avoid at all cost if you wish to have a pleasant meal.
We ordered two pizzas and both were terrible. One was the Killer Potato Pie; it almost did kill us because the bacon on it was mostly raw. The other pizza was just a plain old pepperoni. It wasn't cooked all the way through. I told the server about the raw bacon on the pizza and it pretty much went in one ear and out the other. It was sickening and I have no intention to ever go back.
I grew up eating mellow mushroom in Atlanta actually at the #2 location "first one burned down" and several others around and I have to say the Peachtree city location does not take on what I expect from mellow mushroom. The pizza itself was not good and the staff was a joke and there wasn't that signature mellow mushroom atmosphere... VERY DISAPPOINTED with the PTC location
Great pizza...that is all I ever order...very good.
