Food was ok, Blondy Brownie was AWESOME!!!!! Prices were reasonable. Service was great and our waitress was fast and smiling all the time even though it was very busy. Will definitely be back soon.
Ordered new york strip dinner. $18 side salad was limp and mostly fried onion strips?! Wth? I ordered a healthy salad..no where on the menu did it say it would be half fried greasy stuff..yuk. Steak came out..half gristle and fat..literally..never seem anything like it..couldn't cut it with the steak knife it was such a tough mess..to the chef i will say it was done properly..med rare, but the cut was like no strip steak I've ever seen in my life, so o think it was a lost cause and someone should have realized that. Side order or spinach saute would have been good had it been real butter rather than margarine, which i absolutely do not eat. Oh well, to their credit, i didn't pray for the meal which was nice since all i ate was the bread anyway.

I've been to Southern Star Grill several times. The food is average -- and service is okay. Daily specials are a bargain -- but I've never been impressed by the food. Worth a visit though -- decide for yourself...
