Fountain City Coffee
Reviews

Liked the coffee out here very much, bit on stronger yet not too strong. They take time to prepare so don't be in hurry since the wait time is worth the taste. Mocha is bit more than normal cafes, however great (except once when one of the female baristas made it like in 15 seconds of my order and it tasted just milk; however on all other occasions/other baristas made it great). Unfortunately on food options front, Veggie options are not that great.

I really like the variety of drinks here, and the baristas are always polite. This is a good place to bring a book and read.

Best coffee in town, helpful staff, sometimes a little wait when swarmed by HS students on a field trip.

Have had coffee here a few times and have eaten here once. The pro's of this being a local coffeehouse does not outweigh its many negatives. Service: As others have said the service here is atrocious. The attitude from the waitstaff is that of condescension and impatience, even when they are in the wrong. It haves a vibe of the tragically hip who only work there to hang out with their friends, and you as a paying customer are a nuisance at best. Food: Ordered a sandwich, ham and cheese croissant. Cost just under 5 dollars. It had one thin slice of ham on it. Again I repeat, one slice of thin shaved ham. One small thin slice of cheese. I actually returned the sandwich, uneaten and asked for my money back, it was so obviously not anything that should be called a sandwich. The baristia huffed and rolled her eyes, saying that's how they came. Yeah I'm sure Fountain City would love to serve that for $5 and get away with it, but wrong answer. Coffee: Mediocre at best. Try Judybugs up the street a few shops. The coffee there is blended by the owner and is fantastic, with no attitude in the service.

Not fast food, this place. Best coffe in the state. Freindly, clean, arty, & intellectual. If you like cloned fast food franchised places, you will probably not like it, tho.
