Definitely book here! Rooms are comfortable and quirky, coffee shop breakfast is delicious, and the music venue is one of the best in town. There is also a spa where you can get a discount on a couples massage if you're staying at the hotel. The staff are amazing and very welcoming. Highly recommended!
I recently stayed at the Graduate Athens. The renovations that they have done are beautiful! The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful! The room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Iron works is a super cute coffee shop located inside the hotel. Highly recommend! Will definitely stay here again!
I love Iron Works Coffee Company in The Graduate! I come here every day for a coffee and the best cinnamon rolls. The baristas are the sweetest girls, the coffee shop and lobby smell like home, and the whole atmosphere is unlike any other. I'm so glad that Athens has a place like Iron Works for college students to study, catch up with friends, or just lounge after a long day of class with a delicious mocha with chocolate made from scratch or a blueberry muffin made that morning!
I was in Athens for business and stumbled upon this wonderful hotel. They just finished renovating the entire property. I didn't have to leave the property it had everything, restaurant/music venue ( great food and guest of the hotel get in free!!), a lobby cafe which came in handy at 9pm at night when I was too busy to go out to eat (had an incredible cuban sandwich and a beer to wash it down). They even have a Spa which I will try the next time I'm in town. What stuck out the most was the staff, everyone was so helpful and friendly.
Not only is the Graduate a fantastic hotel that my parents usually stay at when they come to Athens, it also has a great coffee shop in the lobby that is my favorite spot to study at in Athens. The decor of the coffee shop is very warm and artsy, and the baristas are some of the friendliest people I have ever met. Great spot for a unique play to stay/study at in Athens! If you come, get the white chocolate raspberry scone - you won't be disappointed.
