High quality traditional Russian and Uzbek cuisine. Very tasty!!!
Great restaurant. The food is very fresh and everything on the menu tastes great. If you would like to try traditional Russian food with a modern twist, this is the best restaurant in the area but if you are looking for burgers and pasta, this is not the place for you.
I used to go there with a friend twice a week. Its usually empty and the servers are slow. I thought maybe it was the laziness due to the lack of customers, however, it is just the waiters being slow and careless. A friend and I sat down at a table, waited and waited until someone gave us menus or even approached us...waiting...nothing. I had to get up and ask for the menus and the guy handed them to me. I said we are outside waiting for you. You think he came out? One waiter did, but he was at the table next to us and disappeared into the restaurant. I have patience, but it got to the point where I couldn't handle it and the person I decided to take out kept looking at the door for a waiter. I grabbed the menus, walked in, and basically let the two waiters that were barely there know how sucky it is to keep a person waiting. You know what one was doing? Moving cups, one by one, with one hand! I guess to him, slow and steady does win the race...in his mind. The food has always been pretty good. I always ordered the t-bone lamb. Sounds different but delicious. The garden salad is like I make- nice and crispy. The bread used to be black and white, now they only serve white for some reason. Most times I ordered their lattes and they were delicious, however, they constantly run out of cups so I walk out empty handed with an unfulfilled craving. I wish they were more on top of their game. Russians are supposed to be fierce and swift...yet entering this restaurant is like entering a laissez-faire dimension.
For Russian food this place is pretty good... well I should say more Uzbek/Russian food style which is more similar to middle eastern cuisine. This place is small, they have Uzbek music playing and it was a little bit pricey but overall worth it and I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for some good kebabs or humus.
Extremely over priced for very bland food. Not seasoned well at all. Service is extremely slow. I will never in my life go there again. We had a $600 bill, and I didn't enjoy one bite or one sip of my drink.
