Capt. Anderson's

Oh my gosh! Best crab claws ever!!!! If you are seeing this Jimmy, this is not just from me, Rylie Claire. Itt is from Rylie claire, christina and wayne. And if any one goes, I highly recommend their Capt Anderson's "Famous" grilled bay shrimp. And the cheesecake is to die for!!!

I can see why the reviews vary greatly for this restaurant. For me and my family it is an awesome place as the atmosphere, service, and food is extremely consistent. If you do not like the type of food they serve and the high traffic volume you may not like it. We have always had excellent service and great meals over the last six years. We request the same server every time and she actually provides us a business card to call her in advance (Charlene)...and she is wonderful. The atmosphere makes it fun for all types of people. We will continue going every time we visit Panama City Beach!!

Overpriced for what it is. Lazy, un-attentive and poor service. Dirty floors at soon as you sit down. Burned scallops - not good for a $20 appetizer from a "seafood restaurant". Greek salad - bagged salad from a grocery store with 1 cube of feta and one olive is a joke. Appetizers arrived cold - she crab soup and gumbo both cold to touch - how does that even happen? It's generally overpriced for the (lack of) quality - I'm completely confused why it has such a high quality reputation. It's average at best, and they're not getting any more of my dollars.

To lie or not to lie, hmmm,,, the truth,,,, The food was great except they did not have what I really wanted the " PORTERHOUSE STEAK " no ones fault maybe the supplier, However I ended up with getting a T-Bone , which was a little to grissely for my taste they substituted it to a Filet....... SUPERB Filet and even blackened to my choice....... Just awesome food guys, My significant other, had a filet and two lobster tails...... Again a hit with her as well. My three year old had chicken tenders,,, however she never ate a thing and just wanted to play on and under the table and in the seats for the whole experience...... A typical three year old , later that night she asked for her chicken nuggets which were taken back to the condo with us and she even said they were " YUMMY " So thumbs you guys you've earned five stars from my family and I ........ Thank you for the delicious food and a great environment. Larry Childs Macon GA

Over priced. Wife had oysters that were nothing but batter and small. I had stuffed jumbo shrimp. Shrimp were ok, but the stuffing was not cooked enough, just mush without taste. We have had much better and cheaper at Sharkey's up Front Beach Road. We will not be returning to Capt. Anderson's in the future. The service was good, but the food was not even average.
