Rise N Roll

We visited this place for the first time today. We originally stayed away because we saw a bad review, but I am not sure what the bad reviewer was expecting. It is a small and quaint bakery cafe with great prices. My wife and I ordered different breakfast sandwiches and they both were great. The sandwiches came with a small amount of yummy hash brown casserole or a fruit cup. We also got a nice big cinnamon roll that I can't wait to try later. The coffee drinks were awesome-organic and well made, certainly better than Starbucks! This place is the perfect place to drop in and pick up a to-go meal. We will have to try sitting down there sometime...looks like it could be a fun and easy atmosphere, but not quiet and fancy. I have no complaints and the food quality was great. They serve Boar's Head meats and use homemade bread, what more could you want? We can't wait to go back and try out all of their tasty treats...most of which are $3 or less!

There was more than several occasions where Rise and Roll was visited at least once a day for a week. Extremely courteous staff, nice place to sit and eat. No idea what Jimmy dean guy is talking about the food is all homemade. I've even had them give us free baked goods. Will be my most missed place from the area.

My compliments to Jimmy Dean. My wife and I had heard some nice things about this place from friends shortly after they opened, so when we went there we were expecting something at least remotely like a restaurant. Do they take your order? Yes. Do they bring you food? Yes. Does it seem that anything worthwhile is actually cooked in the building? No. I ordered the biscuit breakfast sandwich with egg and cheese, the same thing my friend who referred me had got, and my expectations were of a freshly made sandwich. What I got was clearly a Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich that had been microwaved and delivered by a courteous staff member. On the side of my plate was a small cup of some weirdly warm hash brown slaw which was apparently sponsored by French's Fried Onions. On the plus side, and probably a bad business decision on their part, was the free refills on juice. So at least they have that going for them. If you are looking for an endless supply of Tropicana "Freshly Squeezed" orange juice from a box, this will be your favorite restaurant.

It seems it is a bakery first and restaurant second. My wife and I stopped in for lunch. We ordered some sandwiches with various salad sides, it was all tasty.
