My husband took me to Red Koi as part 2 of our Valentine's celebration, last night. The décor was beautiful and the ambiance was perfect. The hostess greeted us immediately and showed us to a table. Our waitress came quickly and she recommended a platter to share. Delicious! I was really looking forward to enjoying the rest of my dinner but the problem occurred when we had to wait 45-1hour for our 4 rolls to come to the table. Although the waitress apologized periodically, by the 3rd time, I could really care less because...I was extremely hungry. To add insult to injury, once I finally received my order, it was missing the main ingredient....the shrimp tempura. How can I experience the Sea of Love roll...when the "sea" was missing? The waitress corrected the error and I will admit the food was exceptional but I'm unsure if it was worth the drive from Cutler Bay to get there because of the poor service. I really can't complain about the waitress because she did her best but at the end of the day...it shouldn't take an hour for sushi. REALLY?!
Love the food, drinks(margarita and hot sake) and the service was excellent. I yet to go upstairs but always sounds like a good time.
Great place. Servers are all attentive and friendly. My new favorite place for Thai in Coral Gables. Got silly at Karaoke night. Had a blast.
As good as the 4 stars say. Definitely worth the trip
Disappointing. I ordered delivery, the menu online wasn't up to date, it took an hour and a half to get here. Once here the tuna lover roll I ordered tasted like it came from Publix, and the Pad Thai tasted like it had ketchup in it. A waste of $30+ dollars.
