We were told by the locals that the ribs were amazing, so we went with our three young kids. The staff was the best! We ordered Calamari as an app. The waitress winked at us and told the kids to enjoy the chicken, and they did. The staff recommended the spaghetti for the kids and they sat silently eating for twenty minutes because it was that good. The ribs were amazing! Dessert was a giant piece of ice cream pie and it was enough for our whole family, just what the staff said it would be. The staff was friendly, had the right food recommendations and were always refilling our drinks before we ran out. Wonderful Experience!
We enjoy going to the Outlaw. Service is good, everyone is very friendly and the ribs are the best anywhere within 100 miles!! We love the western feel and the piano player. We often go just to sit at the bar and listen to music.
Went out to eat with a party of 17. They served us in good time. Food was just ok, service was fine. Prices a tad high. The problem was when we went to pay. Their policy is to evenly divide the bill up on large parties. So no matter what you ate, you are paying more than was your fair share. Or less if you are lucky. VERY LAZY POLICY. THE CUSTOMER SHOULD NOT HAVE TO DECIDE WHO OWES WHAT AFTER DINNER. Simply awful. Never heard of that policy in my life.
Neat, western atmosphere - kinda reminds you of maybe an old saloon back in the day. Sometimes they have a piano player. Service is highly efficient. Nothing fancy - just good food. I like the Trout San Juan - the fish always tastes like it was just caught! It is served in a nice, light lemon butter sauce; comes with sauteed vegetables and your choice of either a baked potato with all the fixins or rice pilaf. You have a choice of soup or salad - try one of their soups - seem to be homemade, rich, creamy, and delicious. As far as their steaks go, honestly, I have had better steaks at home. Still, a nice restaurant to try if you ever have the opportunity to visit beautiful Ouray!
Love the piano player and the decor. Food is fantastic. I love the rib eye!
