The location and rooftop seating is nice. The beer is decent, tried the bluegrass IPA. The poor review is for the plastic cups. Why plastic? This might be the only micro brewery I have visited that utilizes plastic cups. The piss poor part is they do not recycle the cups.
Wouldn't fill a third party growler because of a "Colorado state law". When we called them out on it they revised their excuse that it's the managements policy. We came back later with a Ouray Brewery growler and they wouldn't fill that either, claiming they "needed the beer in the kegs". Rooftop patio is nice enough to warrant a second star. I recommend Colorado Boy brewery, just 10 minutes away in Ridgeway. Better beer and better service.
Terrible service! We came in with a large group and let the waitress know, out of courtesy, that we needed a split check. When it came time to pay the bill we requested the check to be split as we had mentioned upon meeting our server. It took her three attempts to get the check split. She was very cold and inhospitable throughout the entire meal which got much worse, as you can imagine, when we needed the split check. To top it all off, they included a gratuity of over 20% for our lovely server . NOT GOING BACK
Great place.....great beer......don't be fooled by the low stars.
