Brunswick Zone XL Interquest
Reviews
Great place if you like disrespectful management, hanging out with thuggish porch monkeys, and an overall childish experience. The management is about as mature as the kids in the bouncy house. I expect much more from a place that charges so much for such a mediocre experience. 12 lanes open and dark, but yet, for some reason, there is an hour wait to bowl, please.
The service was awful. The workers have the worst attitudes I have ever encountered. Our pins weren't coming down so we told a worker, and she was so incredibly unkind and rude and only glared at us. Although the bowling lanes are good, I wouldn't waste my time here until they get some satisfying workers.
Spur of the moment trip the Brunswick Zone last night was a rousing success. The place is spacious and clean. The bowling alley's are super nice and they have a great selection of balls to choose from. The scoring system is nice as well. For the little ones you can select bumpers to come up to give them more of a fighting chance. Waitresses come right to your table and you can order drinks or whatever as needed. It also has a pretty good-sized arcade with a lot of the latest games. Tuesday night is all you can play for $19.00. We had a lot of fun and I would recommend it highly.
What a terrible bowling experience. I went there to have my Son's birthday as a walk in with some family. Immediately was told that the wait for bowling would be 45 minutes. I accepted it, being a Saturday afternoon. So we went to go play some games. Right about the 45 minute mark our buzzer started going off so we went to go get our lanes while we let the kids finish their games. We asked when the time started when we were paying for the lanes, "It started when we buzzed you". Awesome, so not only did we still have to get everyone together but we still had to rent shoes which took 10 minutes. That turned an hour of bowling into 45 minutes of bowling. Instead of the waitstaff going around to tables as we saw them while waiting, they we're joking around behind the counter with each other. I had to interrupt their joking to even order the food, which then of course took forever. We were almost done by the time the food came. The only saving grace was the laser tag which was actually really fun. (Thus 2 stars instead of one.) TL;DR If you want to go bowling, do it somewhere else. If you want to play games, this place isn't terrible.
I liked Brunswick. I'd give it a C-plus. I'll start will the arcade, I think they were kind of overpriced. Two dollars for a 45 second game isn't exactly worth it. There was also a small collection. Next is laser tag, I loved laser tag. The blasters were cool and instead of a little red dot shooting these were real lasers. Next is bowling. I had a rough start due to a sassy teenage girl greeting us but I did have fun. I would also like to applaud the manger, she responded to the negative reviews well and professorially. Brunswick could improve but I had fun.
