Had an amazing time at Bouchon. The staff was incredibly helpful, firendly and attentive. I was suggested to order the Rutherford Pinot Noir 2010 from El molino and was very satisfied with it. Expect to come back
I was told to try this place by a friend of mine and I decided to spoil myself and my girlfriend at the time. The place is very pricey so it is certainly something that aims to please, and please it does. This place served me the best stake that I have ever had. It was absolutely tender and the butter on top was really tasty and made the meat literarly melt in my mouth. I never knew stake could be prepare in such a perfectly rare fashion as the meat i ordered. Oh, and the bakery next door simply cannot get any better.
One of the best meals I have ever had in terms of food, wine, ambiance, service, everything. They totally nailed it. I had the boudin blanc which was amazing, and a variety of appetizers the most amazing of which was the truffle French fries. These are worth the trip to yountville alone. After lunch went next door for dessert. Such a perfect day!! And, a great way to enjoy kellers food without having to do the French laundry.
It is as good as they say!!! Since Napa is kinda known for some of the best food in the country, the decision was made to have one last meal in Yountville. It appeared to have some great reviews (as did all the restaurants in the region) and their bakery next door had a line that never seemed to end. Both signs that we were going to enjoy this experience. The atmosphere inside felt like some of the Parisian Restaurants that I have been too with the exception that the food here was outstanding. I enjoyed the Mussels from Maine while my wife devoured some of the best gnocchi that we have ever tasted. My only regret was not having the soup or ordering some more of that delicious bread from the bakery. OH, lets not forget about the deserts. We had some Chocolate that was so good that my mouth is watering just thinking about it.
Super-expensive, line out the door, pastry shop next door. French onion soup here was,,, regrettable. The zinc bar is beautiful !
