Overall a good sushi joint — great sashimi, good sushi. There was a bit of a wait on a Friday night, as should be expected, but the service was great — everyone seemed to enjoy working there, which gave off a good vibe.
Its a small spot, been there forever. Their sushi is the best, hands down. Never been disappointed. Only poor thing is that if you go when its busy, and patrons are lagging, the wait time to be seated can get a bit long, especially since there isn't much room to sit while waiting to be seated.
The worst sushi I have ever had in my life. Sushi tasted like it was not fresh and they poured sauces all over everything to cover up the horrible flavor. What a waste of money.
Best sushi in SLO. They have plenty of new types of fish to discover. Buy the chef a beer and ask him to surprise you with something new!
