Absolutely amazing food and service. Very quiet and quaint dining scene. Perfect for anniversaries or special occasions. Service was outstanding; front of the house, waitresses and rest of staff make you feel at home and comfortable. Food was impeccable.
Their food is AMAZING! The presentation was wonderful as well. Our server was perfect. He checked on us just the right amount and had a great sense of humor. The ambiance of the restaurant is great too. There's a nifty bar you can sit at if it's too busy in the restaurant to get a reservation.
Been here a couple of times- a very competent and consistent kitchen and bar. They have a creative bar menu with competent execution. The service was very good as well. Fits in very well with the Citizen Hotel it is associated with.
My lunch experience at the Grange today was dismal. I ordered a beet and citrus salad for $13 and it arrived without a single beet on the dish! In addition, the salad that was on the plate consisted of some shredded cabbage, a bit of lettuce, a few pumpkin seeds, a couple of orange slices and a meager amount of feta cheese! When the waiter was informed of the absence of beets, he appeared to be quite surprised and brought me a small side dish with a few morsels of beets on it. My observation of the rest of my table's food was that the amounts were quite small and the prices quite expensive. No bread was offered or brought to the table. I left the restaurant hungry. No valet parking was available due to a large party of wine tasters who, apparently, took up all of the parking places. I will not return to this restaurant or ever recommend it to anyone. I eat out a great deal in Sacramento restaurants and this was by far the worst experience I have had.
