Where else can you go for ANY vodka cocktail for only $7?!? The daily happy hour is extremely popular on the weekends so it's not the easiest place to get a table. But once you get a spot, get adventurous with your cocktails and vodkas and you might just find a new favorite drink. I usually get the calamari and the sushi rolls off the happy hour menu. The full menu is a bit pricey so happy hour really is the best way to check out the scene and try out the menu.

We went for SD Restaurant Week for our first visit to 333 and absolutely loved it! The menu was huge--just like the portions they were serving! Here's what we had: Calamari appetizer. Delicious, lightly fried and tossed in thai chili sauce. The flavor was a bit strong and you weren't able to really tasty the calamari itself, but I like that particular sauce so I didn't mind it. They served it in a bowl filled high. This could have been my entire meal. After that, I ordered the salmon and boyfriend got the short ribs. His short ribs were INCREDIBLE! Nicely salted, tender, and juicy. The potato and veggies mixture accompanying it was also tasty. My salmon was huge. I could barely finish it. It was served with a mango sauce on top, bed of succotash on bottom. I picked all the soybeans out of the succotash because I couldn't finish it after the salmon. When dessert rolled around I thought I would need to be rolled out of the restaurant myself. It was delectable creme brûlée and try as I might, there was no way I could have possibly finished it. I tried so hard, but to no avail. It was nice and creamy. Not the best I've ever had, but a great finish to a delightful meal. We had a few cocktails, too. BF had something with muddled strawberries that was to die for and I had a bellintini, minus the oj because of an odd allergy. So the bartender added a little white cranberry to sweeten it up and it was winner. The service, the food, the atmosphere...everything about this restaurant was 5 stars. Cool idea to make it a vodka lounge, too. Keep up the good work--we will absolut-ly (bad pun, I know), be back to try the Happy Hour!

I wrote a mediocre review for 333 on yelp in the past, which was accurate based on the first time I took my wife (then fiancé). Because of all of the great reviews from strangers and friends alike, we decided to give it a second chance, and third, fourth, fifth…fifteenth. My wife and I love this place now, and the first time must have been a fluke. We have brought friends there for New Years Eve dinners, several birthdays, date nights, and happy hours. Every time was great. I have not received any incentive for the review, but I think it is only fair to 333 to give them credit where credit was due. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

The good: Great location right across from the Oceanside Pier, Nice happy hour with good food and drink specials, a large variety of Vodkas to choose from, good bar staff. The Bad: Outside happy hour food is overpriced for quality, If your charging $34 dollars for a steak it better be dry aged. (Cowboy Star, Bistro West are better options for far superior product in the same range)

Great food, great location. Friday night with no reservations and they got us right in. Very please with foods and service. Well worth it.
