They don't get one star because the staff was nice. Tourist trap food. The medium rare hamburger was cooked to the color of drywall. Pasta overcooked and tasteless.
Choosing this restaurant was a big mistake! We are on a trip through the USA and we wanted to celebrate our daughter's 16th birthday. The waitress was not nice at all, not friendly, didn't take care of us the way it should. My wife asked about a surprise for my daughter and she came up with a desert of something. She didn't even congratulate her with her birthday. I wish there had been a Applebees in Mammoth Lakes because they understand how to bring it nicely. I asked about a special pizza with hot peppers that I don't like and she told me that I could take them off myself. The pizza's have not melted cheese on it, but little humps that are warm. This is not how Italian pizzas are in Europe and especially Italy! My wife and daughter could appreciate there steak but there are no sides includes. There should be one side included but that was already on the dish below the meat according to the waitress. How do you serve a steak? Just the meat on a plate? After spending six weeks in restaurants of all kinds I can easily say that this was the worst experience of all. I wouldn't mind that much taking time to write this, however it was supposed to be a special occasion for my daughter that got messed up by a unfriendly waitress that I cannot make right. I have spend half the money having a great time with good food and friendly people in several places.
Tasteless food, bad service, over priced. Is it really that hard to make pasta?
Causal Sunday Afternoon - Great atmosphere but the staff is awful. Quite literally the worst service.
