Our 4 bedroom suite was absolutely gorgeous and the staff was top notch. But the extreme heat (>104 degreees at 11 PM) and the small flies made our stay unbearable. It was too hot to play tennis or go into the pool. The small flies were everywhere even flying around you when you got into the pool. Also there was also nothing to do in town. On our way to San Diego, we found a nice little town named Julian that was a fun spot to travel shop and eat. My son and I would love to give the resort a second chance but I don't think that we could convince my wife or daughters to go for it.
My girlfriend and I will definitely comeback here! We both had a great time with what this resort has to offer. Great view, awesome atmosphere, friendly staff and best of all... relaxation at its finest! A great stress-reliever indeed. Oh yeah, gotta thanks for Patrick for showing me the place. He's a great guy.
Amazing resort! Close to everything including the national park and the Salton Sea. Really top notch place! the casitas are very cool and very clean and the staff is supper friendly! Love it every time we go! (we've tried both La Casa and Borrego Springs Resort on and off and I have to say La Casa beats it every time...) ;)
Great look, feel and service. I'd give it a five except by our cassita 63 and some others, it smelled of sewage. The claimed that there is an ongoing dispute with the county over pipes underground. They better get it fixed before I'd stay in any rooms in that part of the resort again.
Very nice. Will be back, however we hope they improve a few things. The signage on the property was poor and it was difficult to find our way around the property. Also, the roads on the property were difficult to navigate. We had to use public streets to get from the bar to our room. The room itself was wonderful! Bedding was luxurious and we could have not asked for better.
