Steve's Steakhouse

This place has the freshest seafood! I ordered the shrimp and it was so good. Way different then getting it somewhere else, you can tell that it's fresh. The steak was cooked to perfection, the service was amazing, alcoholic beverages were delicious as well. The only think is that I wish it came with 2 sides. It comes with one small side, and it's not enough food for the price.

Another excellent meal. Their stuffed swordfish is the best I've tasted. The eating area is a bit noisy and warm. The prices are a good value for the menu selection. The service was friendly, but a little slow. The view from the window seats is awesome. Recommend to make reservations. Be sure you get a cup or bowl of their clam chowder!

We were looking forward to some great food based on the prices. I ordered filet Mignon when the waiter asked if I would like to try their special - smothered in onions. I said sure. When it arrived, I could not see the meat at all and knew that I had selected the wrong meal. It looked like dried onions pasted over every square inch of the steak, but non on the plate surrounding the steak. I don't know how they did that, but my first thought was "So this is how they slip by with the old meat." I prefer my steak raw, but I honestly don't think they cooked it for more than one minute on each side. The quality was not good enough to serve that raw as the fat had not broken down and I chewed and chewed and chewed. I won't go into the rest of the negative aspects. I will say the waiter was pretty good, but when I asked about the fresh fish, I could tell he was BS'ing me. The mixed drinks were good and also on the stiff side. Nice view out the front. We'll try somewhere else next time.

Food was not good. We asked the waiter if the crab cakes were more crab than cake and his answer was a lot more crab. He was totally wrong. The filet didn't have much flavor and the bernaise sauce was horrible. The martinis were not good either.

I had the Filet Mignon with grilled onions and baked potato, which were all excellent. Also had the signature Key Lime Pie which was large, fluffy, and good. The place allows casual dress, but the ambiance is a little fancier. Service speed was okay; I thought my waiter took too long to check on me and get me my check, but he was knowledgeable and friendly. Food is definitely on the pricier side, but the food quality is superb. Located on the 2nd floor, it has a good view of the harbor. It also has a small bar area with TV. I plan on returning to try their seafood.
