Almquist is a woodworker's candy store, they have everything. Everything! Name a species...yea, they have that. Purpleheart, bloodwood, rosewood, oak, maple, walnut, beech, mahogany, and on, and on. The staff is friendly and the price is right. Obviously, local's all know about this place, but if you're a woodworker visiting Humboldt County, plan to spend a little time and money here.
