if you stop in and don't get the chicken fried steak you will be doing yourself wrong.
It is a livestock auction yard as far from the big city as you can get. The food is very good with large portions. If you have small children there will be a stack of pancakes in front of them before you can sit down. A cup of coffee is still 10 cents and taste like it to.
The food is pretty good. You get a lot on your plate. It is on the greasy side but tastes good. The coffee is weak and not to hot. The service is friendly. The cook is the Mother and the waitress is the daughter. They have a hired waitress on Sundays. If you leave here hungry, then it's your fault. They do hold cattle auctions right next door so don’t expect the eating area to be very clean. It is a little run down inside but the food is pretty darn good. I recommend you not wear your good clothes as the chairs are worn and dirty. But the food is good and the locals like it.
