Queen Creek Olive Mill

Great place to go for lunch if your in town visiting friends or family in Phoenix. It's a nice drive and the lunch options are really good. They also have a nice retail store selling all there oils and other tasty goodies. There Meyer lemon olive is really good. Do yourself a favor and pick up two bottle if you go.
This place is so much fun! I read the bad reviews below and yes I also would not drive 70 miles to come here lol who would do that lol. I live about 15 mins away so its a little more in my reach. As far as the prices being high well yes the are but not uncalled for prices by any means. Everything I have eaten here has been extremly amazing and worth every penny. They also do food truck events where 5-10 trucks come out and they also play live music and have wine tastings. Very nice relaxing place to come and relax at.
The Queen Creek Olive Mill has so much yummy food, Wines and beers, not to mention the Olive Oil which comes in a wide variety of fused flavors. They have live music sometimes on Friday or Saturday nights and the atmosphere is very comfortable. It's just a great place to go and enjoy with the misses or with the whole family. Plenty of parking and plenty of places to sit down inside or out. They also have tours that explain the entire process of Olive Oil making and samples at the end.
If you're gonna drive aaaaaaaaall the way here, you might as well stay for lunch, right? Well that's how it went for us, but not before sampling absolutely everything in the store.. approximately 3 times. Finally after giving up on every oil, vinegar, olive, tapenade and ice cream flavor, we looked at the menu and purchased some sandwiches. The prices were a little on the high side but they claimed all local ingredients and good flavor combinations so we went for it. My chicken and fontina cheese sandwich was alright but nothing I would return to. My friends salami and olive tapenade sandwich lacked olive flavor (the reason why he picked it- he wanted a strong olive presence in the sandwich) so it kinda killed it for him. The side chips were crispy and tasty but neither of us are big into deep fried stuff. We would have loved to try a pizza but unfortunately those only occur once a week at specific times. Guess next time i'll stick to the store sampling and reconsider my lunch options unless I am desperate for another sandwich.
Great place. nice tour and informational. Nice lunch and a good atmosphere.
