Boudreaux's Grill & Bar
Reviews
Slow service and unflavorful food. I hoped new management meant it'd be at least better than before but honestly it's worse.
It was my first experience here and I ordered their fish tacos along with some appetizers. The food took over an hour to be served. And the waitress never came back to ask us how the food was. Unfortunately, some of the entrees were cold. We asked for a check and the waitress threw away our tickets and never gave us our change. Upon asking about it she said that she assumed we did not need it back. Essentially, she stole the change. Its not a tip until I get my change back and then give it to the waitress. At least she could have asked. It only gets two stars because the tacos were good.
Nice little local bar/grill. Food is always fairly good. So far we've tried the etouffee (a touch oniony), crawfish po-boy (very fried) and Boudreaux burgers (good burgers and sauce and great, fresh bread) with cajun fries (which are crispy fries sprinkled with cajun seasoning). The prices are reasonable - about $8 a plate. The service is hit or miss. Waitresses forget about you or get distracted but are generally pretty nice. It's worth a visit if your in the mood for cajun/creole. It is certainly the best of that category that we've had here.
Although service is unpredictable, the food is pretty good. I was raised in Louisiana and its not as spicy as I'm used to, its nothing that can't be overcome with good old tabasco ( from Avery Island Louisiana ) The cajun trio is my dish of choice. Decent food and fair prices
They have the best cajun food around. I really like the gumbo and catfish beignets. Don't pass up the opportunity to eat there.
