I have always loved eating at La Rositas...Theyre the bestest...
We eat here because others in the family do. In my opinion the food tastes okay (like most standard Mexican restaurants) ambience is poor, employees serve but are unfriendly. Definitely not a fave.
La Rosita is FAST, tasty and a great value. I have literally waited in line at taco bell longer than I have waited to get my food at La Rosita. I enjoy the chile relleno.
I hate writing a bad review, almost as much as I hate eating in a bad restaurant. My wife and I were driving through Clinton at 8:30 PM on a Monday night. We were hungry and felt like this was our only option. Right away, I was concerned about the cleanliness of the place but there just weren't other options. The food was below average. It's one of those Mexican restaurants where the soggy refried beans blend into the enchilada that blends into the flavorless orange-colored rice. What's worse is that I looked into the kitchen as I almost always do. It was a mess. I wish we had turned around then... it was not up to any normal standard.
