Finding resupply points in Alaska can be tricky, but the Salchaket Roadhouse has a really big selection. The restaurant serves hearty American fare (try the Questburger, or the baby back ribs). There's a post office, a liquor store, and a simple motel to boot. Fuel prices seemed about standard, and they sell propane. Friendly proprietors and staff, this place is frequented by locals. Really a great find, standing alone on the Richardson Hwy. My only thought would be that their 'general store' section could use some expansion!
