Great atmosphere, enjoyed the food on the multiple occasions I've been. Sometimes a little wait to be seated as it is a first come, first served basis.
Poor quality food and bad service
Once we'd arrive at 7 pm one of the first things the waitress told us was to vacate the table by 8:30 pm - we had booked our table a week in advance. Terrible start.
Once the menus arrived 20 min later, we made our orders. Mains first. Entrees last. Sake ran out. Sashimi wasn't even fresh! The seafood salad isn't actually a salad. It's sashimi with a bit of green on the side. The pork belly was dry and tough. Beef tongue steak was soggy. And did I mention that the sashimi wasn't fresh!?
Tacky and overpriced
Never again.
This place used to be great, but seems to have gone down unfortunately. Service -average at best, food - reasonable. I don't think I'll be going back.
Loved the warm atmosphere and the food. Service was great. Perfect for a cold winter evening.
Soft shell crab is incredible!!! As is the pork belly!!!
