After finding Rob Roy's in their new location, my husband, daughter and I lunched on a Monday in February. Our server, Alanna, was a genuine delight, with a welcoming and gracious demeanor. Lunch was Irish stew, chicken caesar wrap, and a club house. All quite good, Hubby especially enjoyed the stew. My daughter had suffered an emotional morning, and upon our return from the loo, there sat an unordered chocolate lava cake with 3 forks on the table at my daughter's place. "Your daughter seemed to be feeling blue, and when I am blue, chocolate always makes me feel better" is what Alanna told my husband by way of explanation when she brought the sinfully delicious ,rich, warm centered dessert in our absence. Well, it worked. We went to Rob Roy's that day because we have always enjoyed the food, but we went away with full bellies and very warm hearts on a jeezly cold day. Thanks Alanna. We'll be back, and we will ask for your section!
