I lived in the UK for ten years and when you wanted quality homemade food you went to the pub. Unfortunately in Canada most pubs are chains and the food is pre-packed. We were going through Bolton and stopped at the Black Bull. It has all the feel of an old English pub and the food was FANTASTIC!! The wife had the traditional fish n chips and I had their popular shrimp and chicken Pad Thai at the suggestion of the waitress. The helpings were huge and the food was delicious! We ended staying for their Friday night Karaoke which was a huge amount of fun. Highly recommended!
