Usually love Turtle Jack's food. However, @ Chinguacousy Park last night - the wings were 'awful'. I chewed on 4 of them but was concerned that the skin wasn't cooked enough and the chicken was tasteless & chewy - I was concerned that they hadn't cooked long enough. Had them last year @ this event and I raved about them... I paid $12 for 1 lb Plus $4 for a side. The only side available was a poutine - Potatoes were very good, however, I believe there were 4 pieces of cheese. I believe coleslaw was served last year - It was very good. The park organizer went to the stand to get me another order and a server brought me a BETTER plate.... so I thought! Well... they were just as bad! I feel I didn't get my money's worth and threw out the 2nd batch also.
Always have a great experience. Have had issues with waitresses not coming by fast enough and bill being incorrect but the management staff is extremely friendly and usually gets things in order. Never had issues with the food. Visit regularly.
Horrible service, got the order wrong twice. Also after waiting over 40 minutes for food and it was brought out cold, twice. Asked to speak to the manager who argued with us. Would never come back here and would never recommend it.
Had dinner with my girls there last night. The food was good, but I think the service was slow. It took a while for our food to come and the waitress didn't come around much to ask us if we needed anything.
Wife and I have been here about 6 or 7 times and always have good experiences. Even during Valentine's rush service was decent. Never experienced bad service as others have rated. Although -2 star for poor standard of having waitress wear high skirts, pretty distasteful for a family restaurant.
