Myself and three friends went here on a Sunday afternoon. Got a table outside and had a great time! Food was fantastic and the drinks were great! Especially on a hot Summer day!! Highly recommend this restaurant. If i had to criticize one area it was the wait times for food/drinks but they were very busy and had one waiter outside and he was excellent anyway. So cant blame him at all! Overall very enjoyable and will come back again.

No wonder they are gold plate award winners! Beautiful food prepared with care and attention to detail - a rarity in the Perth restaurant scene - and delivered with friendly service. The scallops and pork belly were divine. We had four children in our group and the lovely young lady who served us looked after them all so well. We'll be back and will tell anyone who will listen about Rusticos. Well done guys - 10/10 - awesome effort!

I booked on line giving 24 hours notice. I had not received an auto confirmation 5 hours before we were due to arrive and so I decided to call them to confirm the booking. The lady who answered could find no record of our booking and duly booked us a table. 30 minutes later another member of staff called us re our booking on line! That was the only blip. Upon our arrival the restaurant was busy but staff attentive. Drinks were slow to arrive once ordered but all food arrived in a timely manner. The food itself was very good with the creamy king prawns and chorizo in chilli sauce going down very well. This is a good restaurant to go with family and friends so that you can pick and choose a number of dishes to eat. We'll be back.

Love the food! Love the ambience! Love the service! We have been coming here since it opened and we are always treated fantastic...love that Vanessa serves tables and always recognises us too. The staff are always attentive and knowledgable, always loads of atmosphere, and the food is divine, beef cheeks to die for, love the pork belly, lamb truffles brilliant (love the pea puree), chocolate fondant...Mmmm mmmm, degustation menu highly recommended too. Shannon is a brilliant chef, he even served us as a waiter one night :-), Kent St Deli is fantastic as well, know it will do great as fabulous food and service there too. Well done guys!! Rockingham severely needed a restaurant of your calibre...you rock!!! I have now started taking my business lunches here as well....perfect, very professional and my business associates love the food!

I wish I could say good things about our meal today but I was very disappointed. We were given a bar stool to sit on and a table too small to get our food on. The main course arrived before the starter. Which we struggled to get on the table. We were put next to a wall by the till so we had a constant stream of people squashed up by us trying to pay their bill. I did not like being perched up on a bar stool either it was very difficult to try and eat on such a small confined space. I requested a lower table but this was refused despite there being empty tables. Our food was very small in size. A sharing size starter was just enough for one person with one small piece of fetta cheese to divide into two was not an easy thing as it was so tiny. My fish dish came mixed with meat yet no mention of this on the menu. I dont eat meat so did not like this. My husbands main course meat dish had slices of beef that I am aware should be thinly sliced but it was so thin you could see through it. It was like a bit of tissue paper. The plates the food was serve on had big chips missing off the corner. Best place for them would have been the bin. I was so excited about going to this place for lunch today having read so many good reviews But I have to say I was very very disappointed. We wont be going back. It was very expensive and I feel cheated and ripped off. Plus its states its a tapas bar. Ummm think they are not actually a tapas bar.
