Yering Station

Disappointing food: Duck was so hard that my partner couldn't cut through. Entree which was supposed to be warm was cold. Portion size was so small that there are totally 150 grams of lamb for $42. Rude staff: We got 1 finger-sized piece of bread each. When I asked for more bread, the waitress looked annoyed. We ordered 4 steaks and the staff gave us 0 steak knives. When I asked, the staff was again annoyed. During the 2-hour lunch, not a single staff approached us to ask what we needed or how the meal was. I needed to walk to front and ask questions. The staff never smiled during the whole meal. Actually the staff didn't even bother to speak one complete sentence to me.

Good wine place. Food is not exactly fantastic given the price, especially lamb.

Very helpful and informative service. Happy to chat. Felt no presure to buy. Nice grounds and view.

I went to Yering Station after Domain Chandone (another winery closeby). Though it is not as spic-and-span as Domain, it is a good place to visit nevertheless. The wine tasting is absolutely free of cost, and the view from the balcony is breathtaking. Worth a visit.

Incredible seafood options...highlight was the scallop entree...pricey but worth it for the amazing views, great service and atmosphere.
