Is there anything to not love about Vegie Bar? One of my favourite eateries in Melbourne, it seats on Brunswick Street, at the heart of the oh-so-hipstery awesome Fitzroy, and offers one of the friendliest atmospheres in Melbourne. A few words of advice: 1. Be prepared to wait. If you're intending to go there for dinner, bear in mind it's almost always packed and there often are waiting lists. Which is not an issue, since they have a lovely bar at the back where to have a drink whilst you wait for your name to be called. 2. Don't over-order thinking there's not gonna be enough food, because there most certainly will be. The serves are as delicious as they are massive. 3. On the favourites side, Mostly Greens is incredible (delicious, packed with protein and fibre and yum). For dessert, do not miss the Flourless Chocolate cake and/or the Berry Cheesecake (better enjoyed with ice cream).
Absolutely stunning! From the atmosphere to the people watching to the extraordinary flavours that complement any dietary constraints. Top notch shop!
We did takeout, and the salads were great! The atmosphere while we were waiting was awesome and made us want to come back. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful!

Relaxed ambience with great food and service. Really enjoyed my banana smoothie, the Gnocchi and the Pizza!
