Vivace Restaurant and Function Rooms
Reviews
I have been bringing my family and friends to Vivace since it's opening in 2004. Nothing is too much trouble for Chris and his team. My family are made to feel right at home with its relaxed and professional approach. I struggle to pick my favorite dish as I have had so many fantastic meals. Although their rare steak with a glass of well selected red and the self saucing chocolate pudding is hard to go past. If you are looking for a great quality meal in the Bayside area, I highly recommend Vivace. Adam Reeves Brighton
This restaurant offers excellent cuisine served by a delightful and knowledgable team. Owner Chris and Host Andrew are most welcoming - and ensure that their people "on the floor" let the place hum in a relaxed atmosphere. Why go to the city, Carlton or Brunswick (with all the attendant problems of parking) when you can truly dine in Brighton? In every respect, a restaurant with much to commend it!
We love Vivace and have kept coming back and back for special occasions over the years. Last year I celebrated my 28th birthday at Vivace and my friends were so impressed with the beautiful, intricate food. This year for Valentines Day my partner and I came for the set-price menu and it was fabulous. A few years ago my family celebrated Christmas Eve together at Vivace. It's a really special place, with amazing food. The plate always looks stunning when it comes out, the service is great and we always have a really fun night when dining at Vivace. Brighton residents are lucky to have such a fabulous restaurant as their local!
Vivace Restaurant was recommended to me around 2 years ago and I have been back many times since. I can’t stop talking about my favourite entre which is the Goats Cheese croquets. They are delicious and I think of them often! Chris is a great host and it shows in his team as the service is ALWAYS relaxed, friendly and professional both from a business perspective and when I have been there with family and friends. I tend to eat vegetarian lately and sometimes it is a challenge to find a choice that gets me excited. When dining at Vivace last night with friends, Chris suggested the vegetarian risotto with pumpkin, chestnuts, toasted pumpkin seeds and a hint of sage. The delicious exotic melted tellegio cheese on top got me excited!! Thanks Chris. Will see you all again very soon and save me some croquets! Naomi Radke, Kangaroo Ground. 19 July 2012
Went here for my birthday (leap year) and was presented with a cake, been there about 4 times before and returned again last Saturday! Chris remembered us, as did Andrew and both were very customer focussed, nothing was too much. Great atmosphere and ambience. The food creates memories! Try the carpaccio to start and the veal for main! (Obviously this is what I had :-)) Fantastic. U didn't feel rushed and felt you were the only ones in the restaurant with the service provided (even though the restaurant was full). Will definitely be back, great food, great service.
