Good parma. I like the herbs in the breadcrumbs. It wasnt too overpowering.. Others may not like it though. The sauce was just okay. Overall pretty decent. Id have it again.
This is an authentic Australian pub, nestled in a residential street in Fitzroy. Away from the rush of Brunswick and Johnston streets - The Standard has it all...a traditional Front Bar, a great dining area and a magnificent large beer garden. Do yourself a favour and check it out...
The hidden gem! Great food, rediculously brilliant wine and beer selection, thrown in with the ambiance of warmth in side and a mega awesome beer garden out back- staff are just .... Absolutely gorgeous! If you want character, charisma and damn good place to eat and drink like me- I highly recommend!!
A pretty old school pub in fitzroy with nothing fancy of note. A very authentic atmosphere really but nothing I would write home about.
Absolutely love The Standard. The atmosphere is of a country pub in the big city. The gardens out the back are brilliant for a beer and a meal. The food is excellent, and they accommodate for big groups really well. Can't recommend this place highly enough.
