Place looks awesome. Lots of happy faces. Menu looks great. Only problem was we stood at the door next to the wait for staff sign and waited to be seated for 2 minutes. Staff behind the bar (not doing anything) looked our way and ignored us. Shame really. Maybe next time they can live up to their awesome reputation.
The food was pretty good. We asked for a medium steak but it was more of a well done steak. The seafood gnocchi was good but nothing to write home about. I thought the service was really ordinary. The waitress was really unfriendly and unwelcoming. It felt like we were not welcome. The other reviews seemed really good so we tried it. Not sure whether I could recommend it to anyone.
It is great to be able to call The Metz to order a variety of their fantastic classic or gourmet wood fired pizzas to have with our after work drinks.
Friendly service and good portion sizes. The staff could be more knowledgeable with regards to beer and wine, however their attitude and professionalism makes up for it. :)
Not much of a bar, mostly a restaurant. Didn't eat here but the place was packed for lunch on a Tuesday so must be great food!
