As with other reviewers, I had high expectations given the great reviews. Boy was I disappointed. One star may be harsh but given the expensive menu I feel its deserved. There were numerous service issues - wrong wine was delivered, dirty dishes slow to be removed and the Aioli we ordered still hasn't arrived. I'm not saying the service wasn't friendly, just not particularly attentive, with numerous errors. And for the food .. Firstly everything was cold. My ravioli had next to nothing in them - it was like eating air filled bubbles of pasta. And for $40, you have got to be kidding me?!? The chips were clearly a bag of frozen chips bought in a supermarket - the little tiny bits of potato are a clear giveaway that no human chopped those potatoes. My partner's steak was average, the though the sauce which they claimed was a green peppercorn sauce was clearly not. I'm so disappointed - mostly because of how much this place was hyped up. I won't return.

I went on a weekend (Saturday night) with a reservation with 6 other friends that were coming up from Sydney. I was expecting an incredible restaurant given the hype I saw on different websites, but the food really didn't impress me. The ambiance was very nice - very rustic and gorgeous, but the food certainly disappointed me. The entree was good - scallops were nicely cooked, but the main (I shared a lamb shoulder) was very dry and came with no sides - even though it cost $70!!! My friends ordered fillets, lamb chops and the fish, and aside from the fish, noone really enjoyed their meal. I probably wouldn't come again, to be honest.

Absolutely amazing food with attentive service, my advice is to book ahead on weekends to ensure you get a table. One of my favorite restaurants to visit in Polkobin

Great atmosphere, good food, large wine selection. Nice for a cold night in by the fire.

Good food but not for the price tag. All the dishes had some execution issues e.g. scallop was served too cold, rib eye was cook well but need more sauce (yes I did pick a sauce). It has potential just need some more attention to detail for the price tag.
