Paragon is a must stop for any of our snow trips. We come from the Hunter Valley so it is a great halfway stop. If we lived twenty minutes from Goulburn we would still make it our halfway stop! I have been here numerous times over the years and each time I have seen the same staff members which is great! Their menu is amazing - the history of the cafe is shown on the back and it states that it has been owned by a few large families over the years and it seems every time they have simply added more options to the menu. At the one sitting you can have pizzas, seafood, steaks, greek food, sandwiches, pancakes, waffles, pasta, risotto, soup, thickshakes, slices, tarts, coffees and teas, nachos, asian foods, melts, omelettes, wraps and I reckon if they didn't have it on the menu they'd give whatever you asked for a good crack. The atmosphere is very 70's and they own it well. Service is usually quick, considering that it always seems busy in there. If you have ever wanted to see the largest Nutella jars available, you've come to the right place.

Nice staff, plenty of patrons, lots of menu items, huge meals which weren't cheap. Wife and I ate half our meals - they were nice but jumbo size.

The food was poor "sliced cheese" was used on the Chicken dishes and they were very plan, the Steak dishes were not cooked as requested can the Chef not read?? we didn't want vegie's with our dishes we asked for just chips and a bit of gravy so they charhed us for a full dish each of chips and gravy, The Decor yes it's very old the benches could do with some work so you don't slide off them, walls and trim look ok but could use some work as well, Service 6 workes walking all around doing what looked like nothing and it still took 5 minutes just to get one of then to clean the table we got told to sit at, the girl that servied us was new didn't know what she was doing very little training, it took about 25 minutes to get the food well what they called food, The Cost well they were very quick with the bill when we said we didn't want Dessert because we all felt like crap after the food. Overall save your money eat at home or get Chinese atleast you get what you want. If the owners spent a little less on BMW's and something on the Paragon Cafe maybe they could bring it back to the standard it was.

Loved this place 20 years ago. Love it now. Well worth pulling off the freeway for :-)
