They sat me quick and brought my drink right away along with chips, beans, and salsa. The food was good but not the best flavor. It was mediocre Mexican. After I finished it took a while to get the attention of the wait staff. But with that said they were really busy and so I am glad that I got sat so fast.
I work out of town a lot and have been to a lot of good restaurants. This time I am in Douglas WY at La Costa. The chips fresh salsa was good and the service was average. As far as the food goes I had the taco salad with shredded beef. There was too much lettuce in the salad and the shredded beef tasted burnt. I also had the chicken taquitos and they were good the chicken was fresh the chicken taquitos could have been a meal in its own. Too big a portion. I would say the food fell shy of good authentic Mexican food. Would probably not eat here again.
Not to bad at all, great price good service
Food is OK and there portions are huge but they way too long to bring the food and the waitress I had only stopped by once during my hole dinner. Not returning.
In terms of really good sit-down restaurants in Douglas, there are really no better options than La Costa! This place always has excellent portion sizes and all-you-can-eat nachos.
