It took a little longer than expected for our waiter to come over once we were seated, but otherwise, service was good. We liked that there was a large selection of kid food and all of us liked our meals.
Our party of four sat in the near empty restaurant for over 20 min. waiting to be waited on. I asked the hostess if she could find our waiter. A few minutes later she returned advising the waiter was on his way. 10 minutes later still no waiter, we requested to see the manager. 10 minutes later no waiter and no manager we departed. The food at Summersville Applebee's has never been wonderful now it is on par with the service. Hope you have better luck...
We stopped while on business in the area and were very happy with you low cal meals. Sweet server, nice manager and overall wonderful experience.
WORST APPLEBEES EVER!!! I ate here while passing through Summersville and the food and service were terrible. For starters, I ordered an ultimate trio as an appetizer. Three smaller portions of appetizers already on the menu, shouldn't be that hard. My trio came with the meal! The chips were soggy, the steak stacks were soggy, had little meat, and the cheese was disgusting. For crying out loud one of my classic wings was missing the meat, no joke all that was there was the bone and the gristle from the joint on the top! Then, to top it off, it took 20+ minutes from when we finished eating to get the check. I have never even thought about leaving a restaurant before but I came close here. I eat at Applebees all the time in Morgantown and Fairmont WV, both are excellent. This location should be closed, my experience was that bad.
I haveveaten at many different Applebees across Ohio an WV. Was very dissapointed with this one. The drinks have been very weak on the 4 times I have visited. As a past bartender, I understand the fact that portions are important, but please if a recipe calls for a full shot, do it.
