Great little place nestled in the small town of Fayetteville. Atmosphere is warm and very unique! Food and service was outstanding as well. We ordered the Reuben and the gyro along with fried pickles and all were awesome.

Great little find in West Virginia. The house coffee was the best my wife and I have had in three days of traveling. Excellent food and many vegetarian options! Staff was friendly and service was excellent. If you're staying on the gorge, make a trip to the Cathedral Cafe. KS-Michigan

I saw a couple of negative post, but I would highly suggest you take them with a grain of salt. Must have been a bad day. I went two days in a row for coffee and something to eat when on vacation at Adventures on the Gorge. The atmosphere was super awesome in the old church. The building is beginning to need restoration, but that has no reflection on the service or product; I'm just a building lover. The food was great, better than I would have thought it to be in a small cafe. I thought the service was prompt and saw no difference in me and the hippie dude (lol), sitting next to me. If you don't give this place a shot, you're missing an experience and good coffee.

I've been coming to Cathedral Cafe since 2004 and have always enjoyed the coffee, food and people here. The staff are always friendly and the food is always fresh, hot and local. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

Been going there for years. The owner Wendy, is such a welcoming person, fun to be around, and has worked so much into making this business stand out from all other places in the area. Food is always good, the gift shop caters to a lot of local artists and has unique kids toys, jewelry, t-shirts, and many odds and ends of crafted items. The bookshelves are always well stocked with books of interest, and there is wi-fi. During rafting season it may get busy but there's so much to look at if you have a little wait for food. It is worth the few minutes of wait time cause the food can't be beat. Best coffee, best carrot cake, tortellini salad a must try also.
