Panera Bread
Reviews

I was very satisfied with this location and cuisine; however, the customer service here is lacking. Right in the Town Center Mall, this Panera Bread is literally in the heart of Charleston. My first comment would have to be on the atmosphere. The restaurant is very well decorated, and veers away from the common style of typical West Virginia restaurants as rustic, or southern; Panera Bread offers a refreshing experience of a different culture. The food here was excellent, beyond what I expected, my only comment would be on the sweet tea, which was very bland. The only thing stopping me from giving this restaraunt five stars is its customer service. My friend with whom I was dining, ordered a salad, one that she gets everytime she goes there. The cashier argued with her that they never had the dressing that she wanted on her salad, she was very rude about it and treated my friend like she was an imbecile. We got the manager who kindly explained that the dressing had been discontinued, and also gave us our meal free. Throughout our dining experiencing, the cashier kept shooting our table "dirty" looks from the counter, as if we had done something wrong. Overall, the experience was great, but the entry level customer service representatives were so impolite that I don't know if people will be able to enjoy the great food.
