What? No free chips and salsa? $4.50? For another buck we got the guacamole. Chips were stale. Guac and salsa came in cheap plastic specimen cups. Weakest watered down margaritas ever. They even watered down the summer shandy beer. Food was cheap enough, entirely inoffensive and unmemorable. Ground beef, not shredded, no pork, no fajitas. Almost as good as any other (not really) Mexican restaurant in the middle of white-bread America. They have a beautiful deck overlooking the lake that you can't eat on, but other than that ZERO to negative atmosphere. No music playing, just a big, bare, plain room. The entrance and the whole building just radiates "we don't care-we don't have to." Service was great, the people very friendly, attentive and helpful. But the overall experience was just bland. The nearest Mexican restaurant is 20 miles away, which may explain a lot.
Love this place! Food and service are great. LOVE the enchiladas, home made guacamole, and watered down margaritas (get a pitcher).
Great food, great value!
