Sandbar Sports Pub
Reviews
Stopped there after Sunday service with my wife and daughter. As always, excellent food, great service and being outside near the lake on a sunny day is the ONLY way to experience this place. We will be back again.
WORST SERVICE!!!!!! Placed an order over the phone with Melissa the "Bartender Manager." When we got back to our office, our order that was suppose to be burgers was chicken. I called Sandbar back and spoke with her, she said, "Well you said chicken, what do you want us to do make it over." I told her we did not order chicken and yes to make our order over and we would come back to pick it up. We went back to pick up our order and Melissa would not give us our order because we did not bring the chicken back!!!!!! She never even told us that we had to bring the food back (which we would've not had a problem doing so) unfortunately she couldn't see past that and wouldn't properly compensate us for our wasted time and their mistake. They have lost our business and with us also being a business in the local community and being very heavily involved in Pewaukee we will never recommend anyone to go to a place where customer service is not a priority.
We called ahead at 9:30 PM to find out how long a band we liked was going to play last night-- and was told by the woman on the phone that the band would play until 1:00 AM as advertised on their website. When we arrived at 9:45 PM-- the band had ended their show and had begun packing-up. We decided to order drinks anyway because we were meeting another couple and they hadn't arrived yet. I ordered a glass of red wine for $6.00-- which is a fair price for this type of venue-- but when it came out-- it was a 2 oz pour in a small plastic wine glass! I sarcastically explained to the young waitress that I ordered a glass of wine and wasn't there for a "wine tasting!" She dumbfoundedly looked at me like I was joking. I told her that I wasn't going to pay for the drink until she returned with a normal pour-- to which she did return with a barely 5 oz pour-- which is still light compared to the normal 6 oz to 8 oz standard pour. For my second drink-- I ordered a Grey Goose Dirty Martini straight-up. Again-- my drink came in a small 6 oz plastic martini glass-- just over half-full? And... that was with the olives in the glass too! Needless to say-- we won't be returning to this place that is apparently under new management! It's unfortunate-- we live in the Lake Country area and used to frequent this place often in years past. Here's a tip for the new ownership: Poor service, poor attitudes, and under-poured drinks is a sure recipe for disaster! News travels fast!
Perch fry is cooked excellently, and serving size is good. Cole slaw is ok... service was awesome and the price , was good too! We will definitely be back!!!
Great service-- great pizzas....We come here quite a bit in the summer for days on the boat and nights in the bar!!!
