Gotta say, I've been coming to this location for about 7 years and I'm finally compelled to leave a review. Strictly because this employee took the time and cared, though it was slightly unnecessary, at least she took pride. Thank you to the female employee working around 4:30pm on Sunday, October 26th, 2014 that drew a picture with caramel in the foam of my wife's caramel macchiato. I appreciate the pride you seemed to take in making the drink, the extra 15 second wait was worth it :-) That's where tips come from and what gives people in the service industry a good name.
Great staff! Most of the are very attentive and courteous. Unfortunately I'm on my way to work most mornings before they even open, so I'm forced to make my own coffee (which pales in comparison). If they were open at 5am they'd get 5 stars! I did prefer the old bakery items to the new fancy stuff. I miss those big pieces of pumpkin & banana bread… now I have to make my own breakfast too!
Always a great experience here. Although not open as late as the State Street location (which figures as the State Street location is a UW Study session magnet), I have had my fair share of coming right when the store was closing only to be allowed in and make my order.
